I-DEP Direct to Digital Deposition Recording Service produces a high-quality digital recording of a deposition suitable for later use with any number of trial presentation tools or for general review as part of I-DEP's exclusive Deposition On-line Access Service, Depositions on Demand. In fact, with I-DEP D2D, attorneys get more functionality and flexibility than traditional legal videography for a fraction of the cost.

Using D2D with I-DEP Deposition Broadcasting Services
I-DEP D2D is a stand-alone service, which may be used at the same time as I-DEP Deposition Broadcasting Services and in conjunction with I-DEP Depositions on Demand, but it is not necessary. If used simultaneously with I-DEP Deposition Broadcasting Services, I-DEP D2D will encode and record the video at a much greater quality (300kbps) than what is streamed over the Internet with I-DEP Premier (100kbps).

How D2D Works
With I-DEP D2D, an on-site individual uses the I-DEP Field Kit or Broadcast Station, consisting only of a laptop/desktop computer, small high-end digital camera and lapel microphone, at the deposition site. The proceeding is recorded using an international standard format. The deposition video is delivered on CD or DVD and may also be securely accessed through on I-DEP's Deposition On-line Access Service, Depositions on Demand, I-DEP's online deposition access service.
