To attend an I-DEP® Internet Deposition, click on the "Login" button beneath "Attend an I-DEP" at the left-hand side of this page. This will take you to a page where you will be prompted for your member ID and password, deposition case number and forum state. Once you agree to the standard Participation Agreement, you'll be taken to another page where you may choose a live or on-demand deposition. (If you're not already a member, register for free by clicking on "Become a Member" on the left.)
Because security is of paramount importance at I-DEP, we require that participants complete several steps before attending an I-DEP deposition.
- Organization must be registered.
- Deposition must be scheduled.
- Attendees must be registered and test their computers.
- Deposition password and case number must be known.
To avoid delays in signing on, be sure to register yourself to set up your I-DEP account, test your computer and have your deposition password handy well before the deposition is scheduled to start.
If attending an I-DEP deposition that you scheduled, you already know the deposition password and have distributed it to authorized participants. If attending a deposition scheduled by someone else, you will need the deposition password. Usually, but not always, this is sent by the scheduling attorney. Remember: You must enter your account number, member ID, member password and the deposition password to attend any I-DEP deposition.
